Professional color library, where the color is not related to the substrate. ChromaSpot is a named color library. The essence of this technology is that at various stages, from design to production, each element of the system can use a digital color reference. This allows each component to correct the color rendering method in a specific way. If display or printing devices have different technical capabilities, each can approach the reference most accurately. Errors are not repeated through conversions because each new device refers to the record in the repository. The digital definition is created based on different measurement conditions. Spectral recording allows for precisely considering the influence of all critical elements determining the color - including lighting conditions and the observer type. 

With ChroamSpot, where the definitions take into account the variable amount of UV components in the light, we can consciously consider the influence of optical brighteners and the phenomenon of fluorescence in general.
Samples from real paint tests base spectral measurements on the pigments and colorants used in the industry. However, different printing techniques can change pigmentation – potentially, the metamerism phenomenon will arise, which will also be under control.
